Research Interest  

My research areas range from the materials chemistry to the device physics.
Developing novel materials for energy and nanoelectronic applications, and understanding the relationship between
the material structures (chemical and assembled nanostructures) and device properties are main focus.
The materials include polymers, organic conjugates, nanocarbons, metal oxides, and their hybrids,
and the target devices are organic solar cells (polymer photovoltaics and dye sensitized solar cells),
thermoelectric devices, supercapacitors, transistors, and sensors.

I would like to answer the following questions in materials chemistry.

1. What are the fundamental issues to optimize the properties of materials for energy and electronic devices?
2. How the chemical structures and nanostructures of the materials are influence to their optical and electrical
2. properties?
3. What are the novel strategies to contribute the conventional techniques energy and nanoelectronics area?
